Weekend Recap

For my first weekend of freedom it was BUSY.

Sold the majority of my school books. Made $88. What a rip off. Oh well. Better than nothing I guess. I'm looking at some of the books I decided not to sell but I might go ahead and sell them. I don't see myself being a programmer anytime soon.

My Grandmother got put back in the hospital. The @#$!!@ nursing home decided she was too difficult to handle and gave her TWO doses of a tranquilizer so she started hallucinating. Then we got read the riot act from a Doc about the right to die. She has a DNR. This isn't her normally. Why must we let her live the rest of her life out hallucinating when we feel it was the nursing home's mistake? They shouldn't have given her two doses of a tranquilizer. Especially when she has compromised kidney function. I made the comment that it's probably easier to drug her up than actually listen to what she is saying is wrong with herself. I get so frustrated over the treatment they give her.

Then I found out just talking to my Mom that my Aunt is also in the hospital. She's been battling leukemia and then got cancer a couple of months ago. She's dehydrated, can't eat. Everyone tells me she looks horrible. I'm going to try to go see her tonight after class.

There's half done laundry all over the place. I still haven't gone grocery shopping. That plan to go shopping for shoes? No time. I thought once I was done with school that I would have a lot more time but nope! Maybe I'll catch up this week.
